With a population of around 111,000 spread out over 32 square miles Ventura Beach is a coastal community in southern California 62 miles north of Los Angeles, 27 miles south of Santa Barbara and 15 miles southwest of Ojai. I asked if the dog remembered going to the beach when he was a puppy.
