A slang term---used commonly by inner city blacks--- for a police baton or nightstick, use of such phrase more prevalent after the infamous Rodney King incident.

an adjective used to describe someone who you think is very cool, someone you'd like to spend time with. is generally used with a preceeding adverb, such as very, pretty, definitely, etc.

She is definitely chill; I'd like to be with her.

1) a synonym for cool/dope/sweet (i.e. thats so chill)
2) a synonym for "hang out" (i.e. let's chill)
3) a synonym for "no thanks" (i.e. umm...I'm chill on that)
4) smoking pot (i.e. wanna chill during lunch?)
5) you need to calm down (i.e. you need the chill the F out man)
6) being intoxicated by marijuana and/or being relaxed (i.e. i am so chilled out right now)
7) yes, that sounds good (i.e. Matt: Want to iceskate? Sam: thats chill dude)
8) something that is cold (i.e. there is a chill to the air)
9) stayting in (i.e. Jamie: Want to get wasted tonight? Kyle: nah man I'm just going to chill tonight)

Just remember, some of these phrases are quite similar if not exactly similar, so your tone of voice is essential when using this word.

chill rave

The opposite of hard raving. Often practised after long nights raving or by those abstaining from pro-raving, involves a degree of hypothetical theorizing and continual self questioning ("what" is a common chill-raver salutation). Chill raves are non venue specific and occur in numerous locations including private houses, outdoors, fruit markets and often illegal laundrettes. Music is another feature of the culture ranging from chill to rave, without ever really raving, but always chill raving.

pepe: "What are you doing later?"
spooner: "chill raving."
pepe: "äfter that?"
spooner: "älways chill raving, never not chill raving"

Guy: "how about you and me have a rave?"
Girl: "chill rave?"
Guy: "always."

Chill Bro

Somebody who tries to be cool with everybody, and fit in where ever he may go. The rational thought of a Chill Bro is severly slanted when compared to any normal person. The ideas brewed within a Chill Bros mind are enough to chill normal people to the bone. Occasional contact with Chill Bros is sometimes impossible to avoid, although be warned, too much contact may result in a normal person catching hypothermia, or even frostbite. Any and all ideas, actions, or motives presented by a chill bro, shall be classified simply as, Chill.

Man, I wish there werent so many Chill Bros around, i'm gunna catch a cold.
