Adjective. Having qualities of or similar to that of a toad. These similarities may be physical, sonic, or just metaphorical. Similar to the words "wooden" and "leaden".

That car jumps every time you start it, I'd say it's a toaden car.

1. Someone with an excessive, pathetic allegience to an organization or person, usually a boss. A boot-licking toady will unflinchingly cater to his master's every wish irrespective of propriety, other people's feelings, or even ethics. Having little or no identity of his own, he will emulate his master in almost every aspect, from appearance to speech and mannerisms.

2. A bobbleheaded sycophant.

3. A mini-me brownnoser.

All those years of ass-kissing paid off. Bob, that boot-licking toady, just got promoted over more qualified and talented people.

(n.) 1. the general act of being a toad; 2. the act of not being real with oneself and instead committing oneself to actions of degrading others and preventing others from expressing themselves either by forceful law or empty demand. 3. Conforming to the general will of the population without and before first defining oneself or developing one's own position. 4. The act of "saving face." To be used in a situation where a toad (n.) is acting according to a toad's general conforming, face-saving, manipulative, or expectantly insecure/demanding nature.
