A guy might get overprotective towards a link if somehow he gets too emotionally attached to her and finds it harder and harder to see this girl with another guy. Sometimes it may be seen as the guy being in denial becsuse deep down he wants a relationship but he may not know if the girl is wifey-able (reasons may vary)

Linksysterhood

The group of people who host wireless routers lazily, often not securing them and keeping their name 'linksys'. As a result, many nearby internet users can get free wireless internet.

My neighbor's part of the linksysterhood. He doesn't secure his router and never seems to care that he gets slow traffic because five of us are hoarding it.
