1. The time you wait from winning an auction to receiving the goods.

2. The time you wait from someone winning your auction to actually getting paid for the item.

1. I won that iPad on eBay three days ago and the guy hasn't shipped it yet. This eBay lag is killing me!

A common excuse for when someone has an epic fail moment in a video game. It's frequently ridiculed as being too generic, to the point that people overlook that sometimes it's legit. Some people have crappy internet.

That period of time, before coming out, when a gay guy tries to believe he's straight and dates girls.
