Ralled Out

In order for someone to be Ralled Out they must be on the prescription add medicine Adderall. One usually becomes Ralled Out after taking more then the prescribed dosage. One often smokes an unusually large amount of cigarettes while being ralled out.

Conor had a huge test the next day so he decided to get all ralled out in order to stay up all night and study.

Ranter

Though some actually make sense, most do not. Typically, a ranter is someone who beats the crap out of something or someone else for either a)making fun of something or b) not living up to their personal standards.
These people have a tendancy to point out that other people against their beliefs and thoughts are uneducated, in the meanwhile mispelling the crap out of their words; like the ever popular 'your',and 'you're'. If you're lucky, you'll see the occasional 'are' and 'our' mistake, but thats rare game. If you are reading an article/post/comment or any other type of expression on the internet whose author meets the standards of an illeterate pile of doo-doo that is pulling the "Oh, come OOOOON" whine fest, please let them know that no body cares and they should "keep their day job", or if its really bad "find a day job".

Keep in mind: not all ranters are bad, some actually "rant" about something appropriate. I leave it in your hands to lable a rant as appropriate or not and to take care of it if need be.

Rate My Professors

A site for college students to assist others into choosing professors for their classes based on difficulty of the course, teaching methods presented, and (occasionally) attractiveness. Many reviews are helpful and outline the professors lecturing style and how to prepare for his/her exams. Others are not helpful and contain reviews from disgruntled students who expected an A just for showing up.

Helpful Rate My Professors Review: "Be prepared to work! I took Prof. Johnson for Linear Algebra last semester. He is tough, because he wants you to learn how to prove theorems rather than memorizing them and expects you to show steps for reducing a matrix into row echelon form on exams. That being said, his lecture notes are very organized, drops the lowest exam grade at the end of the semester, and is always available to meet up with you after class.

Unhelpful Rate my Professors Review: Mr. Johnson is the worst professor ever! I do all the homework, and His exams are too hard. Not even a graduate student couldn't solve the questions on the exam!! I was a Straight A-student, now I have a 2.1 GPA all because of this prof. Avoid!!

federal funds rate

(FINANCE) the rate at which Federal Reserve System member banks lend reserves to each other. It is the one interest rate actually set by the Federal Reserve Board. The other rates, such for treasury securities, are set by auction.

Bank reserves are a fixed percentage of deposits held in reserve against sudden demand by the depositor. In some cases bank reserves take the form of deposits with a Federal Reserve Bank, like the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.* Such deposits do not earn interest for the member bank, unless they are re-lent out at the federal funds rate.

"Federal funds" refers to emergency lending (overnight) among member banks so that the borrower can meet its reserve requirements. Reserves may include deposits with a Federal Reserve Bank which can be loaned by the member bank to another member bank (thereby earning interest).
