The Geometry Dash Effect

When someone slowly gets worse and worse at something the longer a session goes on. This effect is mainly caused by the brain sabotaging the session because it grows tired of shit and wants to do something else.

Person 1: AGHHHH!!!

Person 2: You good?

Person 1: NO! I'm trying to beat Deadlocked, but every time I play, I just keep dying earlier!!! I hate this game!!!

Person 2: No you don't. You're just experiencing the Geometry Dash Effect. You gotta take a break to do something else.

Person 1: Yeah. Wanna make out?

The phase in a relationship when you are not just "friends with benefits", but not dating yet. The space between girl or boy and friend is filled with a "dash" (i.e. girl-friend, boy-friend). It is essentially when you are fucking and confused, and are not ready for commitment.

Dashboard Elvis

Term used to describe the stressful act of having excessive demands placed upon you, or being unfairly manipulated, by colleagues or partners, to such an extent that you seem to have lost control of your limbs and are spiralling aimlessly from one task to the next without accomplishing a thing.

Derives from the car ornament of the same name where a jumpsuit clad image of the King spins frantically on the dashboard.
