Hooding

When you pull the hood of someone's hoodie over their head. You can either say "Hood!" While doing it, or "You've just been hooded!" After you do it.

Example 1: Jeff sneaks up behind Bill and yells "hood!" while hooding him.

Example 2: Ben pulls Cameron's hood over his head and then yells "You've just been hooded!"

honking

Deaf people talking, or trying to.

Many people who are legally "deaf" can hear very limited frequency ranges, so their vocal patterns formed around the frequencies they were able to distinguish as a kid. Their speech sounds muted and does not contain details such as the sharpness of a hard "j" or "s" for example. The flat sound of this speech is usually referred to as honking since that's what it sounds like.

"Fucking deafies, nobody understands their honking."

An absolute criminal of a bloke who resides in the northside of Dublin. A Hookie is notoriously known for being ugly and driving a flash car.
