Get the San Bernardinomug. NOT a ghetto! It is a place that is near Oakland but dose not mean it is Oakland! You can NOT hear gun shots at night either. It has 3 high schools, 2 middle schools, 1 catholic school and 5 public elementary schools. It is very small and his home to around 2,500 people. There is no mayor and is part of the Alameda County Department. It is in the 510 area but that dose not mean the residents walk around with there pants at their ankles with guns in their pockets. It is a well kept city.

In San Francisco you can find a church that will support your ONE LOVE/ALL LOVE not strengthen your prejudices.
If you are visiting for more than 4 days try the green "Space Cake" on the first day and walk west on Haight Street and groove through the park toward the north where you will find Hippy Hill for what ever influence it may have on a given day. Street Fair takes place in a June weekend on the Haight aswell. Heard performers from Jefferson Airplane and Hendrix Experience etc.
