Lacking the ability to categorize this rhythmic noise under any standard genre, record company executives have come to call it ‘pop music’ because they can convince some people it is popular and therefore must be worth listening to.

Chav Music

An un-official genre of music listened to by chavs.
There are two types:

1. A girl with a cockney (London) accent singing quite clever lyrics to a fairly catchy tune. (This is the better type of chav music).

2. A man talking about his chavvy life over a loud, synthetic bass beat that is too loud. Maybe a guitar will be playing if you lucky. Not really music, more like noise.

Example of Type 2 chav music:

Chav: This is like, so original.

A term used by many people who get opinion confused with fact. Mostly used when a person has an extreme dislike for a certain type of music or song. Thus, causing extreme ignorance making them believe that their opinions dominate everyone elses, by using the term "real music".

Guy: That crap you listen to aint real music!

Me: Go learn what "opinion" means dumbass and then we can talk about music.
