gender

How one defines themselves with clothes, pronouns, how they carry themselves, etc (i.e. male, female, androgynous, etc). Different from sex- ex: a person may be born female (sex) but identify as male (gender), though for many, sex and gender are synonymous.
"I prefer female pronouns such as 'she' and 'her', because female is my gender." Or "My gender is androgynous, though my sex is male."

gender

A property of nouns and pronouns.

A noun can have one of three genders, masculine, feminine, and neuter. Gender is never male or female; that is sex.

The gender of a noun may have little or no relation to the sex of its bearer. For example, in German, the word for dog is der Hund, which has masculine gender. A dog may be male or female, but the word for dog has masculine gender.

Radical feminists, effeminate men, and extremely ignorant people use the word to mean sex. They also ignorantly believe that the pronoun HE, when used to refer to someone of unknown sex, is offensive. Instead, they ignorantly and incorrectly use the word THEY to refer to a single person of unknown sex. Notice that French, German, Spanish, and other people have no trouble at all distinguishing sex and gender. A German is never offended by the word ER used to refer to someone of unknown sex, even though ER also means HE. That's because Germans are intelligent enough to know the difference between gender and sex, and that gender may have little to do with sex.

Even well-meaning organizations ask for you gender on applications now, but only out of ignorance. They surely want to know if you are male or female, not whether you enjoy eating butt or prancing on floats in parades.
The word SHIP often has a feminine gender. People refer to a ship as SHE.

gender roles

A set of social roles that have developed over a long period of time and have allowed mankind to prosper into a society that treats people equally. While equality isn't perfect gender roles have no rationally explainable play in it's obstruction.
Gender roles, simply said are nature's most practical answer to efficient sharing of the work load.

Nature doesn't care about feelings, it doesn't care about what you think is right or wrong.
It only cares for survival, evolution and prosperity.

However, since men love women they have allowed and helped them to abolish gender roles to a certain degree and certain countries. This has drastically increased the rate of suicide, depression and other mental impairments.

The vast majority of people, without gender roles, are not happy. Some selected individuals stand to benefit from it, that are happy with it.

The moment a goverment can not support this artifical gender-neutral environment anymore and people are on their own, gender roles will be back in full force and people will be happy about it.

Just because people have different responsibilities, different things they are better at than others doesn't mean that they are less important.
Because ten-thousand-something people didn't like gender roles they forcefully subjected Millions and Millions of people to their pseudo-scientic ideology.

Gender

The way that you choose to identify yourself, usually as a male or female.

For some reason, people keep confusing it with sex, which is determined by your genitalia at birth.

There are some people who feel like they do not feel as if they fit under the two binary genders, known as male and female. These people are called non-binary.

People who’s gender and sex are the same are known as cisgender. People who don’t are known as transgender or non-binary.
1. My gender is the same as my sex. I am cisgender.

2. My gender differs from my sex. I am transgender.

gender restriction

Someone who imposes a sexual preference upon themselves for some outside reason. A person might have no gender-bias, but decides that it might be easier to have and raise children with someone of the opposite sex. This person imposes a gender restriction upon those that they may get involved with.
'I used to see John date men and women until about a year ago, and now he seems to only date women!'
'oh, didn't you hear? he imposed a gender restriction on who he dates because he decided he wants to find someone he can have a biological child with.'
'whoa, I didn't know people could do something like that!'
