Situational Lust

Feelings of desire for a person who is not particularly attractive but just happens to be the most attractive in the room at that point in time. Often occurs during long boring classes or lectures.

Sufferers usually come to a realisation that the subject of their lust is far less interesting if they ever see them in a different context.

A complement that is worded so that it only applies in the situation the complement is given.

"You look pretty today"

"You were so good this time!"

"I had fun with you tonight"

"This is such a good picture of you!"

"Haley's always giving me situation-specific complements! Like she never just complements me, she has to say 'right now' at the end which basically implies that I suck most of the time and she's surprised that I'm not totally fucking up at the moment"

The feeling you get after a night of raging and drinking too much including but not limited to nausea, headaches, general discomfort, guilt, shame.

I was hoping she would help me stand up to the homeowner's association to advocate for more parking spaces, but I forgot she has a situational backbone and therefore won't do much to help unless the issue involves the dog park.
