Get the Colonmug. Colonizer is a descriptive term for someone who believes in and perpetuates ideas that separate us from each other, nature, our people, etc or pushes ideologies that harm BIPOC. Ideologies being things like racism or stereotypes in media are fine, cultural appropriation isn’t a big deal, BIPOC are crybabies for educating people on history, etc.
It is not exclusive to one group of people; however, it certainly describes a portion of people that benefit from whte supremacy—an element of colonization.
