New Transatlantic Accent

The voice used by vlog celebrities to sound informative and authoritative. A mix of the California raised question-like tone at the end of sentences and the monotonal drone of news and radio professionals. A purposefully polished accent that only exists in blogs and youtube videos.

The name is derived from the old Transatlantic (or Mid-Atlantic) Accent, an accent specifically designed for film, television, and media that blended posh sounding British accent with American pronunciation to create a high class sound. (Known users of the Transatlantic Accent are Katharine Hepburn, Bette Davis, and early Vincent Price)

Tommy's Neuroscience vlog never really took off so he started using the New Transatlantic Accent. Now he sounds like a dick but he has more than 30,000 followers.

The only accent spoken on the island of Great Britain. Usually defined by dropping t's (hahahaha they lost it in Boston and drank the others), but you can come up with anything to mock the Brits

Canadian Accent

I know how we speak because i am Canadian. I live in Ontario and i've talked to an American a couple times. In Utah they think we say ;

-Sorry (Sarry)
-House (How ess)
-Outside (Owwwtside)


We do say EH, at the end of a sentence BUT NOT ALL THE TIME indicating interest. Like ; three friends are talking in a group and the two leave and walk a way and the one day says ''That dude was an idiot eh?''


Basically that's it.
And around my age, 15 kids here are talking weird too.

We'll say, damn he's a roach. Meaning use less or being stupid.

Also, we call people birds. ''UGH he's a fucking bird!''

More i feel gansgter talk. :)
