When someone you text is receiving your messages but chooses to not acknowledge the fact that they have been read and does not answer back.

If my ex keeps textnoring him I am going to blast him on my facebook status for everyone to read!

Used to describe a strictly-texting relationship that one wishes to eventually grow into more (usually doesn't).

Jane: How long have you and Alex been texting?

Amy: Almost four months. He's the one.

Passive Texting

Verb

The act of receiving a text and simply not responding, either to piss off youre friends or because you think its funny to leave him/her in a state of obscurity. People will often know this has happened to them when someone reads their texts and they know. This is usually indicated by a check mark next to the initial text.

Tom- Dude, I was texting you for 20 mins and you just stopped responding. You were supposed to come over and watch Star Wars

James- Duh thats weird, I never got that text. I think my phones been messed up lately

Tom- There was a green check mark ass, I know you got it!

Bystander (Aside)- Sounds like James was passive texting, sucks for Tom!

dead texter

a person who is texting while walking and gets hit by a car, run into by a person, texting while driving, or falls off a curb and breaks their neck because they weren't paying attention to their surroundings.

Bob became a dead texter when he walked into traffic and was hit by a garbage truck while texting.

1. When a teenage male texts a teenage female to the point where the female only wants to be friends with the male.

2. When a teenage male texts a teenage female enough to where it is awkward and uncomfortable in person.

I could've gotten with her if I hadn't kept over-texting her.

textersation

a compound of the two words text and and conversation. a textersation is a conversation in the form of a text but takes 70 times as long as a regular coversation and kills your phone remarkably fast. textersations are know to begin early on the morning and end late at night. you can expect to see alot of "hahas" and smiley faces in textersations.

Conversation Texter

Someone who will carry on an entire conversation using only text messages.

Well, Jessica and Misty are conversation texters. I'm not, I just pick the phone up if I want to have a conversation.

Taylor is not a conversation texter. I'll text him, and he'll call me back instead of text. It's pretty annoying.
