meter fairy

A meter fairy is another word for a parking enforcement officer. Parking enforcement officers just give everyone a hard time and a bad day over the most minuscule things. Meter Fairies can be found harassing impoverished individuals and college students daily. They ruin someone's day and hinder their success by wasting their time. Meter Fairies seem to usually have a smart ass and rude attitude. Thats what happens when someone has fake authority.

Guy 1: Look at that meter fairy over there
Guy 2: He gave that guy a ticket for parking in a space and saying he cannot park there.

Guy 1 : But there are two hundred empty parking spaces

Guy 2: Thats a meter fairy for you!
