Music that doesn't make music to get on the charts, but rather according to the charts (statistics) to appeal to a larger audience and become a mindless earworm. These songs have no long-lasting value or quality to them, usually fading away once they've made their record company enough money.

Cheater

When you already committed to a college but you went to another college’s recruiting event for free chicken tenders and t shirts so your friend calls you a cheater as a joke, but your math teacher thinks that the two of you are dating so he starts yelling at you in front of the class about how bad cheating is. The teacher goes on a twenty minute rant about his ex and how they were cheated on and how it broke their heart. The teacher looks at you dead in the eyes and says “once a cheater always a cheater”. Meanwhile you’re trying to control your shaking shoulders and tears as you are literally about to burst from holding in your laughter for the last 20 minutes.
