Adorealization

(noun) A fusion of *adore* and *derealization.*

The surreal moment when mutual affection feels so real that it becomes unreal — when two souls resonate so deeply that reality itself blurs.

It’s not fantasy, but the point where love feels too vivid to belong to the physical world.

Adorealize

(verb) To connect so deeply with someone that the shared structure of emotion and reality momentarily collapses.
It’s when resonance becomes too vivid to belong to the physical world — so intense that you question whether it really happened, even though every cell remembers it.
To adorealize is to love in a way that bends the boundaries of perception itself.

automotive anorexia

A psychological disorder in which the subject is obsessed with the belief that his vehicle has excessive weight. The patient will engage in destructive behavior such as stripping out seats, mats, and even mechanical parts in order to attain an unrealistic standard of automotive performance, agility, and fuel economy. If left untreated it can be life-threatening, especially when parts needed for safety are removed from the vehicle.
This condition can afflict anyone, but it is most common among ricers and boy racers.

"Mark took the passenger seats out of his Honda Civic".
"That's nothing, he also took off the spare tire, the muffler, and replaced the windows with clear plastic."
"He's got automotive anorexia, we need to stage an intervention before he tries to take off the air bags and somebody gets hurt".

Having a genuine interest in how things became the way they are.

I have tremendous lore adore for how the Knicks went from Championship caliber in 1999 to shit. It started with the GM, the guy who traded a high first-round draft choice for a retired player, among a whole plethora of breathtakingly idiotic transactions.
