tool

A tool is somebody who does way too much to try to fit in. So people use them, knowing that they will do anything to fit in, and pretend the tool will be liked if he/she follows through. Typically, a tool is too dumb to notice this. Trying too hard to fit in is what causes them to not fit in, often making akward comments or just annoying the shit out of everybody they're trying to hang out with.

Tool

A) A person whom conforms. often associated with "douches" and "assholes". (1) In the wild, these very unintellegent creatures copy whatever they see, or claim to have done something, but really they just pissed someone off. Often really annoying and doesn't think of what to do in life.

B) a garden or mechanical device of which helps man do great things.

A person who is a complete loser in all ways. Has no idea what he is doing and is most likely at art schools smoking up some hootch with kids named Tippayachat.

Someone with the name Gavin or Calvin is really a tool. Especially if there last names happens to sound like a geometrical vocabulary word.
