a quiet setting with just a little noise. like when working and having the radio, tv or misc type background noises in the background. more than total silence and less than alot of noise.

Another term for a cigarette. Cigs are quiet when marijuana is loud. There is a difference. Dont be confused.

Quare

Variant of Queer.

Depending on the context, it can mean strange or uncanny, but can also mean homosexual.

"He's a right quare hawk", meaning he is a strange person.

"That was a right quare film", meaning that movie was indeed rather strange.

"He's a quare lad!", that man is a homosexual.
