In order to sign the beating stick you must steal it or have it used on you. If you come in possession of the beating stick either by stealing it or having it used on you, you must sign it, and then pass it on. To pass it on, you must beat someone bloody with the beating stick, and leave it with the beaten party. The cycle then continues.
