Helicopter Spin

A form of headbanging in which a person would spin their head instead of the traditional up and down movement. In order for one to fully achieve the Helicopter Spin the person must have long hair.

The bassist of Slayer, Tom Araya, can be seen performing the Helicopter Spin in almost every concert.

A Scottish term equivalent to "spinning a yarn" meaning telling a tale. Often used in a poker context as a slow-roll baiting a player with talk of weak play before you turn over the nuts. Origin: Muskoka, ON
