Often forced to choose between marrying an alcoholic and poverty, these women will do anything to escape and see a gullible Western man as a ticket out. They thus wear sexually aggressive clothing, heavy perfume/makeup, platinum-blonde hair, and act promiscuous, submissive, or stupid — things women otherwise avoid out of self-respect or to not be mistaken for a prostitute. Passport Bros, starved for intercourse, feel a strong ego boost when such a woman approaches them, mistaking sexually manipulative behaviour for "being feminine."
This strategy tends to be successful. Passport Bro, knowing the truth deep down, resorts to ego-protective cope for why he failed to find a girl at home, such as "Western women have extraordinary demands" (like being taken seriously) or that women from wealthy countries are gold diggers (ignoring warning signs that his EE girlfriend is just that).
