Trayvon Benjamin Martin was a 17-year-old African American from Miami Gardens, Florida, who was fatally shot in Sanford, Florida while walking home in the rain wearing a black hoodie by white male George Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch volunteer. A jury of six women found him not guilty in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin. Former neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman was acquitted of the crime in July 2013.

Treyvon Martins death was devastating and huge example off the corruption and lack of justice in our court systems today. It was a sad story for an innocent teen to loose his life for being black and looking "suspicious" while simply trying to walking home. His story has united the country against this type of injustice and could be the beginning of a revolution.
