Sybil Trelawney

The act of abruptly stopping previous actions (i.e. conversation), turning one's head and looking blankly off into space after one has developed a deep thought and cannot help but interpret its meaning.

Corey: "Yeah, so I was doing my Honors Physics homework with my boyz James, Dapo, Dan, Noam, and the rest of my peepz when..." (looks off into space)
Cristina: "Yo! Corey just pulled a Sybil Trelawney in this motha!!! Whatchu thinkin' bout, Corey?"

Raven from That's So Raven has mastered the "Sybil Trelawney". Raven may try to act like she originated the gesture, but Sybil Trelawney is the original gangsta.

Trell

Trell is a bastardization of troll the same way lel is a bastardization of lol. The connotation of trell is largely related to that of 420yoloswag. Trell should be taken as a more of a relaxed form of troll. It can be used when you are indifferent on an action that someone is performing, but you want to let the other person know that you have acknowledged the person's endeavors. The main difference between trell and troll is that the latter takes more of an active stance; you're acknowledging the person's actions and, in a sense, condoning it.

A: I'm going to use this wma file of a bass song for my mandarin project.
B: Trell.

A: Be right back... I'm going to dump this bucket of paint on my neighbor's lawn.
B: Trelelelel.

trilla

Popularized by Miami rapper Rick Ross, trilla comes from the root word "trill", a combination of "true" and "real". Ross' new album is entitled Trilla, and he has confirmed that it is a play on the notorious Michael Jackson album Thriller.

Wayne: "Tony is always snitchin' to tha police."
Rick: "Yeah, we way more trilla than him."
