When a glitch is discovered that can potentially save time in a speedrun but the glitch makes something that is required to finish the game broken therefor being unable to beat the game and making the glitch useless

You need your head to progress a certain part of the game and losing it makes it unbeatable despite the possible time saves of not having to talk, that speedrunning community is speedcucked

In the campaign or story mode of a video game, speedrunning refers to the practise of running past (as opposed to killing) opponents to reach checkpoints. In this way the campaign can be completed very quickly with a minimum of fuss.

Speedrunning videos were all over youtube in the Halo 2 days; now it's much harder.
