In the View Askiew-niverse authored by Kevin Smith with Jay Mewes, it is a term to replace “I love you.” Used to avoid mushy embarrassment.

Commonly mistaken for meaning “just kidding,” because in ‘Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back,’ Jay tells Justice that it means just kidding, but that is to cover his embarrassment of admitting he loves her.
