n. A mailbox belonging to a college student (usually checked on a regular basis) which he or she normally finds empty, and thus a disappointment.

disappointing

When you were worth something more to someone once; but you managed to find a way to make them change their mind. Used correctly, possibly one of the most painful words in the world. Suggests giving up, no longer caring. Can be used to infer "we can never go back."

I did love you. But now, I don't know. You never did what you said you were going to do. I waited for you, but.. you know, it's just.. disappointing, I guess. That's all.

Disappointer

You made me so happy to see you again, everytime I'm with you my heart lights up like a fireflies arse. I'm selfish. I wanted more. NO. I NEEDED more. You said yes and I thought today was a perfect day, and I guess yesterday was...

It was after midnight you let me down. I understood when you said you couldn't reply, but you said you'd show. 6 minutes and I would have been back in that place of ecstacy, 6 minutes and we could've stolen a piece of time for just ourselves. I waited. I was beyond tired but I pushed. My teeth chattered and still I gave 20 moments longer than I should've.

You revealed the true nature of a disappointer; sleep comes easy to those that cry their heart out, and no longer carry the pain of unmet expectations.

Christmas day. The day when everyone is disappointed with their presents.

Mum - "Merry Christmas!"
Kid - "I hope this is what I think it is"

Mum - "I went to a lot of trouble to get it.
*Kid opens present*
Kid - "...It's the wrong type. Did you keep the receipt?"
Dad - "Another 'merry' disappointment day!"

kissapointed

The experience of kissing someone after a big build up and not getting turned on and feeling disappointed. This feeling should indicate that any further romantic activity will be a let down too.

After months of flirting and waiting, Emmy finally got to make out with Eton. The overwhelmingly negative feeling she had could only be defined as kissapointed. She abruptly stopped and remarked that she may vomit which caused him to run in the other direction.
