A place you go to to tip a large bucket of pennies down a drain and hope a flashing machine spits back millions of dollars.

Get the casino mug.A small casino located near Prior Lake, Minnesota where 99% of patrons are chain-smoking button whackers. Despite the casino's small size, many of the socially backwards patrons see fit to occupy two machines at once. Little Six patrons are afraid of sunlight and human interaction. As long as they can chain smoke and stare listlessly into their "lucky" machine, they will not harm anyone. The only harm is from them whacking the buttons on the machine when it does not continually pay out large sums of cash.
Amy: Hey let's go to a casino. How about Little Six Casino?
Ryan: But it's like the twilight zone in there! Their patrons are all afraid of the sunlight and live in halfway houses.
Amy: But their slots are looser!
Ryan: Ok, I guess that's worth lung cancer. I'll drive.

Get the Going to the casino mug.Term based on the myth that Vegas hotels pump extra oxygen into their casinos to keep people awake, boost alcohol's effects, etc. etc. This is false, and would be highly illegal if true. Not to mention what would happen if someone lit a cigarette.
The "rush" that many people feel when entering a casino is really a combination of overstimulation (flashing lights, noise, excitement) and sudden exposure to lower temperatures; though they aren't allowed to pump oxygen in, some casinos keep temperatures lower than normal to help keep people awake and alert, spending more money rather than returning to their rooms.
Although it's based on false information, the term is not obsolete; it can also refer to the casino's atmosphere of excitement and risk.

Get the casino air mug.Word to describe a person found in a casino that cannot afford to be there. Casino rats smell like a mixture of coffee and stale smoke and are usually wearing dirty, dingy clothing to go with their filthy hands and hair. Casino rats generally chain smoke and are frequently seen telling sob stories to random casino patrons and then asking them for money and cigarettes. They can be seen at the casino just about every day of the week and can easily be picked out when they are observed walking around aimlessly looking at the floor for dropped money, tickets, or casino chips.
That lady is a real casino rat. Every time I have been at the casino she was there wearing the same stinky clothes harassing other people for handouts.
