noise abatement

The measures taken to reduce the emission of unwanted sounds/vibrations in a given environment. Commonly referred to within;

1. Aviation: the procedures adopted to reduce aircraft noise on takeoff and landing - accomplished by reducing the power setting or avoiding densely populated areas.

2. Sex: the methods adopted to reduce the noise of fucking in an area surrounded by people. It is induced by; the rapid reciprocal motion of the woman's dangly beef curtains; the flapping noise of her pecky saggers as she receives intense drilling; or the moaning and groaning of the whore caused by the 15-inch bratwurst that's pounding her brains out. Solutions include using gaffer tape to stop the kebab lips from drooping and swaying, and stuffing her throat with your nozzle (or gravy) to extinguish all sound.

1. *1500 feet MSL*: "Noise abatement procedures please, so we can shut those god-damn environmentalists up."

2. "Dammit Louise, the pink lips of your bearded clam are fluttering against my wang! Grab the cooter tape, we need to enforce noise abatement!"

Rhetorical question asked by someone distinctly more cool than whomever is being asked in an attempt to point out his or her inherent corniness or dorkiness.

Is used primarily used by a black person to a white person but may be used by any hip person who wants to call out an uncool subordinate.

Originally used in a skit on Chappelle's Show.

"Hey you white guy from Canada, what's the square root of this apartment? (laughs to self)."

Water Apartment

Term for the grand space of a handicap stall in a bathroom. Spun off the old term of water closet which was, for all purposes, just a toilet in a space the size of a phone booth. Usually contain a jump seat for a child or little friend, bars you can rest your head on for a quick nap, and a coat hook on the door. In most cases also contains a working door latch, something that is missing in the toilet booths.

Similar to the Taj Mahstall but with fewer amenities.

The Beardsley (Terrace) / Trumbull Gardens Apartments

The Beardsley Terrace now known as Trumbull Gardens is a housing project that is furthest north in Bridgeport, Connecticut. It is one of the well known housing projects in the city and the local area. The terrace is a half mile long on Trumbull Ave between Reservoir Ave and Chopsey Hill Road. It is in the Reservoir section of the North End. It has two high rise buildings and many two floor apartments. It is also know for the 6 bus running through it. It also has a community center for the youth. It is a bad housing project but improved over the years. It's kind of hidden by some trees from the next streets over and there only two ways in and out by driving.
