(noun)-the act of missing a shot over the cross bar in soccer and having to chase the ball down.

(verb)-missing an easy shot and cussing because you have to chase your ball 50 yards from where you were.

trump statement

To make a statement with no evidence to backup your claim and then ignore requests for evidence until it goes away. Also allows an option if caught out, to pretend you never said it. If evidence is produced, ignore it until it goes away.

(Man 1) Global warming is cased by dolphins. (Man 2) That sounds like a trump statement... what proof do you have? (Man 1) What are you talking about? (Man 2) You just said global warming is caused by dolphins? (Man 1) I never said that. I would never say that.
