a method used by a close associate of a rock band that uses this to find the most desirable groupies he can see and baits them into the backstage waiting room while the band takes care of business on stage...

sadly the groupies find out after hours of waiting that the band members have just played a horrible practical joke on them and are already partying back at the hotel.

we use the best police scanners on our tour to keep up the band's moral.

Jim has tried this and that but still hasn't decided on a clear path, he is, I guess, what you call a scanner. Sadly, he's in his early thirties.

Sclanner

A lazy, job shy female Manc who speaks endless shizzle, makes constant excuses and is a pure shirker. Often seen sponging off their not so good looking fellas (who are often on the portly side). You can spot a Sclanner all over Manchester / Salford. Often get jobs but don't start them, they can't be arsed!

She was meant to start her new job today, but didn't get up... what a lazy f*****g sclanner...
