Rectoring

A shorter form of refactoring.

In software 'refactoring' code means changing the layout of the code, without changing it's behaviour.

Rectoring code means refactoring it with an automated tool rather than wasting time refactoring it by hand.

I think refactoring this code is going to take too long, and be prone to bugs. Rectoring it with an automated tool would take far less time and be far easier.

Restoration

A term commonly used by mistake when describing a vehicle that has undergone improvements such as new paint and interior, yet is nothing like a factory original.

I spent 10,000 dollars on the restoration of my VW Bus. The Lexus Plum Purple paint still looks new and the leather Dodge Caravan seats are very comfortable.

Restraining order

The purpose of restraining orders are to employ lawyers. This is a 2 part process. The primary lawyer gets paid to file the restraining order. The secondary lawyer gets paid to defend the perp when they violate the order....usually because the order is total bullshit and used by a STBX to gain the upper hand ( and the house) in the divorce.

"My bitch wife got a restraining order and now Im living in a van down by the river".

Restonia

A place in northern virginia )originally called Reston) where all the kids are stoners. THe town, founded in 1962 by colonizing Hippies, was based on the concept of a "Planned COmmunity", where everyone could live in peace and share the growth of the community together. Damn hippies and their pot plants. Look what happened to the children! Now, We all love the essence of being stoned, getting stoned, and the after affects of getting stoned (Munchies).
But we tend to stay away form the paranoid smokers...they are not welcome. Enjoy your stay here in "Restonia".
