luckie street

one of cartel's best songs. it's best enjoyed when you're driving and it's cold outside, nighttime, you're half-wasted (not a requirement), and the music is blaring. although this "ritual" is great no matter what, having friends who appreciate this song make it all the better. singing along is definitely encouraged.

last night we sped around to luckie street and now i can't hear out of my left ear. AWESOME!

LUCKED OUT

In the UK this has the exact opposite meaning to that in the USA.

In other words Lucked Out means you were unlucky ( a much more obvious meaning to my mind)

I guess it comes from the phrase 'Shit outta luck' which can of course be used ironcally and thus carry both meanings.

Shit! I lucked out on that promotion. I did't get it!

In an online multiplayer game,
preferably a 'First Person Shooter' (FPS) A "Luckbert" will kill(frag) a more experienced player with a random/effortless shot.

luckbert is figuring out what button is "fire" for 10 minutes now.After hitting every button on his keyboard, eventually he shoots...fragging an active player.
