Contextual Christianity

The act of a Christian choosing which parts of the Bible to believe and honor while disregarding other passages.

Contextual Christianity has been the forefront of California's Yes on 8 campaign to prevent gay marriage. While the Bible considers same sex relationships unacceptable, it also asks for people to love and accept each other.

Contextplating

The act of taking a prolonged break in a text conversation to decide between possible things you can say. This usually happens when trying to say the right thing to someone you're interested in and try to sound clever, funny or smart. Or when it is important not to say something wrong that could escalate into an unwanted conflict.

"Dude, what should i say to this girl. I don't want to mess things up"

"I don't know man just keep contextplating for a while and if she asks what took so long say you didn't notice you had a text"

context clipping

Selectively editing a piece of footage, a transcript or any piece of media in order to remove any context that would otherwise undermine one's argument or narrative.

Andy Ngo is well known for context clipping other journalists footage from protests and selectively editing them in such a way to cast a bad light on protestors in order to promote right-wing narratives.
