An increasingly popular phrase used to describe Mike Pence who has now thrown his asshat into the ring.

It is as yet unclear whether or not Mr Pence has fully embraced the phrase, ‘guns and Jesus candidate,’ but he does admit that he feels it has a clever ring to it.

A politician that has a lot of support from memers (ex. people from 4chan) in which even though the politician is delusional or unrealistic policies and is controversial.

A good example of this is Donald J. Trump in which he was supported by people from /pol/ and the alt-right and make memes to promote him.

"We have voted a meme candidate as a president" said a /pol/ack on the 4chan board /pol/.

I thought I was going for a real job interview but they were just candidate sourcing to give the "hiring" manager a clue of what products to develop next
