paranoia agent

The latest (as of 2005) anime by famous director Satoshi Kon. His works include "Millenium Actress" and "Tokyo Godfathers." Paranoia Agent follows the stories of victims of a would-be serial killer, but none of them are dead. This enigmatic attacker is known as Li'l Slugger, because he uses a slightly bend bat to strike his victims. This anime is not just a police drama though, for all the victims seem...relieved afterwards. All of them suffer from dangerous psycological symptoms, and were being pushed into a corner by events in their lives. The attacks come as a release, almost healing in a sense. This anime is very good, and it differs from the fantasy-sci fi normalicy of average anime. I would really recommend seeing it, and all of Satoshi Kon's works.

orginally classified as a "defoliant" but the US Government found out that it is better at killing VC soliders and giving Americans prostate cancer.

Between 1965 and 1970, the United States dropped more then 50,000 tons of Agent Orange on Vietnam.

Bay Area Accent

One of the less known-about American accents, can be heard throughout the bay depending on which area you're in. However, its beginning to fade as more and more people move in from other places.

Some notable differences:
- Slurring words or sounds together, "Sanrancisco"
- Dropping Ts, Santa Monica is "Sannamonica" and Santa Cruz is "Sannacruz"
- Replacing the "t" or "th" sounds with "d", so "these" is "deeze" and "those" is "dose"
- A weird "r" sound. I can't explain it
- Either super fast or super slow

- Throwing in a lot of bay area slang, "hella", "tryna", "slaps" "cop"
- Dropping whole words, "Whayya mean?" = "What do you mean?"

Listen to how these people talk, they have Bay Area Accents: YBN Nahmir ("listen to Rubbin' off the Paint", he picked up his accent from friends in Cali over GTA), Daveed Diggs, SOB x RBE (listen to "Anti")

Person: Say 'Catfish Hunter'
Person w Bay Area accent: CAFESH HUNNER
Person: Wtf

Person w Bay Area accent: I was born inna city and was raised in the da sen-oh-sen
Translation: I was born in the City and raised in the 707
