A pun on "The University of Michigan" intended to identify Macomb Community College, which is currently established on Michigan State Highway 59.

Student 1: Hey, I'm going to Michigan State for college dude, where are you going?
Student 2: U of M-59.
Student 1: Ahhh the Wolverines... nice.
Student 2: Errr, you're referring to the U of M. And we're the Monarchs (as in butterflies) by the way.

File 59 cipher

The most horrible, mind-numbing, teeth-gritting, hair-pulling cipher that has been introduced to the general public. (Personally, I have taken to calling it The Water Temple cipher after the ever infamous Legend of Zelda Water Temple.)

Seen in Jadusable's Majora's Mask Haunted Cartridge ARG that began in early September of 2010, this cipher was introduced to the general population that makes up the ARG in the late part of September/early part of October. As of October 26, 2010, no one has been able to decipher this code to date.

Many people have spent weeks on this cipher, just to end up nowhere, and everyone spoken to about this cipher has said they 'died a little inside' after trying to solve this cipher.

Hey, have you ever heard of this thing? It's called the "File 59 cipher"...

Rule 59

If you know the rules off the top of your head, you are encouraged to kill yourself.

The exact orgin of the rules is in dispute, some say the chans, some say giai online, sill others something awful. what is agreed upon is that the rules are followed, almost cult like, across the communitys. rules like rule one and rule 14 are heavily enforced. the rules, are of course, modified to adap to the specific community they exist on. example, if one were to find this on a chan, the statment would be similar to "Anon, go and rule 59 yourself; or an hero, which is the pesudo way of asking somone to kill themself
