Many of the non-chosens despise and/or worship the popular people, but in reality they just got to be popular by being overall a nice person. Popular girls are always pretty, with a caring for their clothes and makeup, as well as their social presence. Popular guys are usually complete fboi, and either need to be attractive or athletic (or both). Many of them are rich, since that would support their expensive clothes and lifestyle. You’re pretty much born into the group or you’re not.
