muckluck

Bastardized form of the word "mukluk" which refers to a boot made from animal skin worn by Eskimos or boots of similar fashion. Yeah, this is the word Krusty uses in that particular Simpsons episode.

Krusty: Kent, the young people today, they think comedy is dirty words. It's not -- it's words that *sound* dirty, like "mukluk."

1) Muckle on the end of that, and fetch it on up.

Mucket

A relatively large, yellowish brown freshwater unionid commonly found throughout the midwestern United States. This bivalve can be identified by its heavy shell, shallow depth of beak cavity, large pseudocardinal teeth and oblong shape. Young show distinct green rays radiating from the beak. While commonly defined as mussels, many leading malacologists identify muckets as unionids seperate from mussels. A distinguishing difference is that they lack the byssal threads used by many bivalves, including mussels, to hold themselves to rocks and other fixed structures. Several other species, such as the Pink Mucket, utilize the common name but are of a different subfamily.

Old Yorkshire slang referring to a person that is always getting dirty.

That person always seems to be covered in mud and filth. What a mucktub, he needs to be washed 4 or 5 times a day.
