Best place in the U.S. People who are haters either haven't really been here or are just know-it-all's from the rest of the 49 states that can't compare. Take one step into Jersey and you're hooked- learn to drive or you aren't going to survive. And cut it out with all that "joisey" talk. People who use stereotypes gotta get a clue.

north jersey

basically the families of people who work in new york. about 87 times better then south jersey.not everyone is a guido and there and there really arent that many. actually most people in north jersey hate guidos and the bad rep they give us. if you live in north jersey you most likely go to the city extreamly often and know it almost as well as any newyorker. and yes we talk normally however a slight jersey accent can slip out when angry.i have lived in north jersey my entire life and have never said joisey, i go to diners 24/7, really dislike the mall (sorry guys) and i greatly dislike guidos.

nobody in north jersey like a guido because who could ever take a boy who goes to tanning salons, plucks there eyebrows everyday, listens to techo and is constantly makeing kissy faces seriously

New Jersey accent

We DONT say Joisey. We tend to draw out our vowels like people from Philly. If your in North Jersey you may have a New York-Like accent, If your in South Jersey Philly is your city and you talk more like them. Not all people have accents because most people move here from other Countries, and Regions of the U.S. I tend to say "Worter" instead of "Water". I also Say "Caaary" instead of "Carry." and "Nevahdah" instead of "Nevada". We mostly don't have strong accents though and remember NO ONE EVERY SAYS JOISEY.

West Coast Person: Hey aren't you from "Joisey" (trying to make fun of an accent that no one has)

NJ Kid: Actually we say it like "JUR-ZEE" and most New Jersey Accents aren't that strong, it varies from person to person.
