When you are taking a crap and you go to wipe, but there is that one piece of crap still hanging out or partly out of your butt.

A Dangler

An area of an email or a section of an email that should be deleted prior to forwarding or showing but is not. Instead it becomes a dangler, and hides in the body of the forwarded email until it is read by someone who will be unintentionally affected by it.

Oh man, we just got busted by a dangler. When I forwarded Shannon that thread we had going last week, I forgot to delete that section where you said she had a giant booty. Sorry!

Referred to a African-American person, calling them a "Tree Dangler", is like calling them a monkey who dangles from trees to pick bananas, or any fruit or food of some sort that grows on trees.
