1) To be tricked into visiting a shock site (namely meatspin.com) by bros claiming the site is actually something interesting or awesome often via a seemingly harmless (often masked or renamed) text or pic link.

Examples:
a) Some troll's signature in so-and-so forum lured me in with tasty bacon pics, but it was a trap. I got spinned, bro.

b) I stepped away from my computer for just a minute, but that was enough time for my roommate to set up a trap. Dude, I got spinned.

South African slang, used by English speakers as a derogatory term for white Afrikaans speakers, implying stupidity, poverty, yokelism or a lack of social graces. "Spinnekop" is Afrikaans for spider. Derived from the older epithet "rock spider", another insult.
