science fiction

science fiction creates our contemporary metaphors, whereas fantasy literature perpetuates medieval metaphors.

for instance, in medieval times, people who saw strange lights or experienced other strange phenonema described the experiences in terms of meeting angels or pixies, whereas, nowadays, thanks to science fiction, people are as likely to interpret these experiences as alien visitations, abductions, or ufo sightings.

Political Social Science

A personal thought of mine that everybody, no matter what race, or ethnicity, starts out equal. It is that individuals' choice, or fault to practice things that make them appear better, or worse in public society, thus making Politically Correctness wrong. For that people say that you should be nice to everybody for they're all equal, but those people they tell you to be nice to might of done something to lose respect that earns them some forms of chastisement.

Be nice to this Black guy.
No, he got arrested for robbing a store, so he doesn't deserve as much respect. Political Social Science, my friend.

Natural Sciences

Natural Sciences: a branch of Science that deals with understanding nature.
The five major branches of Natural sciences:
Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science and Physics!

I believe physics to be the most basic natural science (doesn't mean it's easy) and that other natural sciences build upon it.

Natural sciences are great!

Chemistry teacher: ...so basically, we've got aqueous HF as a product.
Student: What? WHY?!
Chemistry teacher: That's the physics of it!
