Babblethumper

People whose solicitation of their political, social or sexual issues are reminiscent of the same narrow-minded zealotry of religious fanatics referred to collectively as “Biblethumpers.”

He is such a Babblethumper! I can’t take him anywhere without him arguing with anyone and everyone about politics.

Babblethumper used as a verb: That group of students babblethumped for over an hour about cultural appropriation, all because some lady who wasn’t Asian wore a Japanese kimono to the spa.

I referred to myself as a Latina the other day and some babblethumper who didn’t even speak Spanish tried to correct me and say it was somehow more culturally sensitive to refer to myself as “Latin-X.”

The Babble Thumpers went from business to business harassing the proprietors to put up posters supporting their cause.
