One that secretly is "emo" but does not dress it or have an emo cut. Usually remains limited to emo music, in private only.

Brandon is such a closet-emo, he listens to Underoath, Fall Out Boy, Senses Fail, and Saosin, but he still dresses like a wigga/downe boy.

half emo 

A person who is seen as an emo, but who really isn't. They have skinny jeans and eyeliner, but DO NOT cut or cry themselves to sleep. They tend to be very inteigent and nicer than most. They like to wear an almost normal amount of color and stick to the general rule of being nonconformist. They're usually shy.

Kid 1: Ewwww, it's that one emo kid from my english class
Kid 2: No, he's just a half emo

Fake Emo 

<small><center>One who tries to be "emo" as it is the new 'hype' and everyone else seems to be 'emo' when really they are just as bad as you. You fake being emo, as you see real emos and think they look cool so decide to copy them when clearly you aren't emo. Fake emo's usually think that by listening to one type of "emo" or "punk" band and knowing one song they are classified as "emo". They also wear black clothes that are clearly from some posho shop. They also pretend to be super depressed and think that slitting your wrists makes you cool even if you aren't depressed.

Ghett-Emo 

A combination a severe Ghetto-ness and the emotional wreckage of an emo. One who puts on the persona of a thug or "tough guy" but really cries himself to sleep because nobody understands him. Usually involves resorting to sliting wrists with diamonds. Sometimes might use the screennames "Ghettemoscarsyo" or "Ghettemotearsyo" Etc etc.

Lardena killed a hooker but then had remorse and cried himself to sleep. He killed the hooker because NOBODY UNDERSTANDS HIM! Also, his self-esteem is a low as her low-riders.
