When you're having a conversation via text messaging and one person puts the other one on hold.

First text: "If you cared about me, you'd text me back."
Responding text: "Sorry. BRB."
"Yo! I was texting Chris and he put me on text hold!"

Texted Vexed

During instant messaging when you are typing to someone and there is a little message at the bottom stating "so-and-so is entering text..." you stop typing and wait for your friends response, left unaware that you're friend is doing the exact thing.

I was talking to Bob last night on AIM, when we got texted vexed, and I spent an hour staring at the screen with anticipation.

1. A texter who cannot (really WILL NOT) put down their phone b/c they think that they must always text.

text stacking

v. When person "a" sends multiple texts to person "b" without giving time for person "b" to read and/or reply between texts.

Occasionally a reply can be started by person "b", but typing will be interrupted by a new message from person "a".

Frequently occurs when person "a" is bored at work and has nothing better going on.

"Andrew is text stacking me...again"

Inbox: 3 new messages from Andrew
Received: 10:32:10 pm, 10:32:13 pm, 10:32:15 pm.

When multiple text threads between 2 people become confusingly ordered or arranged due to time lag and or subject matter.

Her: Yeah I told you I'm down for that!
Him: For which? The beach or dinner?
Her: Yes
Him: Hey call me we're just cross-texting. I'm totally confused now.
