To be reprimanded by a babooshka. In Russia, 'babooshka' is an impolite term for a cankerous old woman who enjoys scolding younger people for misbehavior. To be 'booshed' is the verb of being reprimanded by a babooshka.

Person A: I hear someone coming up the stairs.
Person B: Well, it is 4am and the quiet hours start at 1am.
Person A: We're about to get booshed.

A south African woman!

Of late I have been witness to a friend finding himself getting more and more frustrated by south african women. Both dating and freindships he keeps getting the thin end of the wedge. We live in the middle east and his terminology to sum this particular species was "bolshy".
