TreadTube

The nickname given to the Marxist-Leninist and Marxist-Leninist-Maoist YouTube community, differing greatly from the liberal BreadTube.

While BreadTube encourages basic decommodification and social reforms, they uncritically repeat US intelligence propaganda and dismiss any talk of a social or political revolution, instead prefering the failed incrementalist approach of reforming capitalist.

TreadTubers challenge the validity of claims made by the US government, a country that has a long history of lying and projecting its own crimes onto other countries in order to justify military intervention to crush any kind of socialist revolutions. They also do the work of dispelling the lies and myths that have been spread about Marxism, socialism and communism.
