dude: What tha eff is wrong with me!? I just dropped an entire bowl of hot nacho cheese on the carpet! I'm so mad at myself! GRRR!!!

chick: Awww hunny! You poor thinger!!! I'm sorry, let me help you clean it up.

Thinger

A word used to describe an object when one has forgotten it's proper name; used to describe a thing or group of things when one does not know what it or they are called.

"Hey Baby, can you pass me the thinger?" or "Hey Baby, what do you call those thingers?"

I've got this thing, and its fucking golden

1. a phrase used when you are trying to make a deal, and the other person doesn't understand the magnitude of whats going on.

2. used when you are blessed with an amazing opportunity or gift, and somebody you know doesn't understand how amazing it is

the phrase originates from the Rod Blagojevich tapes, in which blagojevich is trying to sell somebody the seat of illinois senator, and he thinks the other guy undervalued the cost of the seat.

example 1:

Joe: hey, did you know i own a baseball signed by babe ruth?

Bob: are you serious? ill pay you fifty bucks for it

Joe: am i serious? the question should be are you serious, i mean, i've got this this and it fucking golden, and you want to pay me fifty bucks for it? id rather sell my soul on ebay.

example 2:

Joe: I just won a backstage ticket to a bruce springsteen concert

Bob: thats nice

Joe: nice? I've got this thing, and its fucking golden

A movie with Ubher sex panthers Denise Richards and Neve Campbell which has a convulsive convoluted plot. Add Hottie Matt Dillon and babaliscoius Kevin Bacon{eyes open for the frontal nudity} Bill Murray set it all in some swamp and the definition of WILD THINGS gets even muddier

n. \ˈthiŋiŋ\ - In a relationship, the intersection between being a "thing" and just being a "fling". A not-so-serious level of dating, that is still more serious than a one-night-stand or a quick relationship. Usually, it occurs when good friends become something more.

bright young thing

An unconventional young person from the 1920s and 1930s who lived to go to fashionable parties, drink and shock their elders. As with their modern counterpart the hipster, this madcap lifestyle often depended on a regular allowance from wealthy parents.

I remember my great grandma Hazel as a grouchy old lady who knit all day, but my mother said before she got married she had been a bright young thing who drank bootleg gin and swung on chandeliers.
